The Harrogate Girl Ask Italian Harrogate Eating out

Now ASK seem to be doing it a little differently recently. They’ve just launched their summer menu and I thought it was worth a try. In fact, I didn’t want to just review it myself so I invited seven parenting lifestyle bloggers to try it with me.

Ask Italian Harrogate BloggersWe had the gorgeous Momma Up North, North & Soul, Harrogate Mumbler, Harrogate Mama, Feather & Flock, The Greedy Sisters and from a little further afield York on a Fork.

As you walk through the doors of ASK Italian your hit with their Italian branding, I loved this wall art which explained the difference Italian hand gestures.

Harrogate Bloggers Ask Italian

Located on Albert Street (or Little Italy as it should be know with Prezzo and Pizza Express just opposite) Ask Italian is a perfect family friendly restaurant. The team at ASK, headed up by Agni welcomed us in with a cocktail before bringing some Aniti Pasti to the table. I invited my sister to be my family for the evening, she had a bit of a hard deal as I kept leaving her to check on the other bloggers and take photos of the evening.

Ask Italian Menu

There’s a great chose on Ask Italian’s new menu which also caters well for most dietary requirements. Kirstie and I shared a Coppa Ham & Egg Pizza (£11.50) and Risotto Con Pollo E Funghi (£12.95) which were both really good in flavour and texture.

Delicious Deserts

Now the desserts were amazing – again we shared – because it’s like getting two desserts!  On recommendation from the staff we ordered the White Chocolate Swirl (£6.50). This fruity number was my kind of dessert, the blood orange sauce cut across the smooth white chocolate and almond mousse perfectly! We also ordered a Chocolate Etna (£6.75) – for those that order this you need to have your phone at the read to capture the moment the hot salted caramel hits the chocolatey dome to reveal what’s inside – it was heavenly and my sister’s favourite.

Thank you so much to the wonderful team at ASK Italian. Their Spring menu is perfect for families wither it be little ones or just two sisters going out for a bite to eat. I certainly know my sister will be back – even if she just orders the desserts!

Thank you also to all the family bloggers who came to the event. It was wonderful to hear the exciting and interesting things you’re all working on.

Have you bee to Ask Italian? Do you have a regular dish or do you mix it up?

P.S. Ask Italian and I worked together to invite parenting bloggers to showcase their new family focused menu. If you have something you want to showcase/collaborate on, get in touch here.
