Skipton’s newest restaurant – Alexander’s Bar and Kitchen is set to deliver Alpine chic to Skipton’s High Street, with its very own outdoor heated, chalet-style, cover over their now famous Secret Garden that overlooks the Leeds Liverpool canal. It’s the ultimate definition of hygge, the on trend, popular concept of Scandinavian coziness and little pleasures – the perfect festive retreat that’s yours to share this Christmas.
Decked out with twinkly lights and decorated with vintage skis, sleighs and fir trees, cosy up with sheepskins and blankets and hunker down to a decadent night beneath the stars. Gather around a pot of Cheese Fondue served with roast baby potatoes, cured meats, pickles & chutney and share winter warmers like Roast Chestnuts & Winter Soup and Pulled Pork with Flat Breads, Apple Sauce & Crackling.
It’s Alpine menu created by Head Chef Jason Wardill will make you feel like you’re they’re in the Alps, right in the heart of Skipton. Alpine cuisine is hearty and warm and Off Piste’s delicious Beer Cooked Frankfurter Sausages with Pork Ribs & Sauerkraut definitely hits the spot.
