Harrogate Tribe held it’s first Fashion event hosted by Hotel Du Vin on Friday 4th May. The gorgeous gals from Kit & Kaboodal came to showcase their beautiful summer season whilst guest enjoyed the stunning floral wall by local company Orla Flora, a two-course meal and a gin or two!
As we know Harrogate’s high street isn’t what it used to be. We’ve lost shops where wardrobe staples were readily available, now we either have the pricey shops on James street (which are way out of my budget) or Primark, and for me those clothes just don’t last! So, Harrogate Tribe Fashion Event was all about connecting the people of Harrogate with Kit & Kaboodal.
Their mission is simple – to provide stylish, relaxed and affordable women’s clothing. With a booming online shop, it was great to give them a platform for showcasing what they do best. Not a second after the show had finished and we’d opened the doors to the backstage area for a closer look at the clothes did the till start ringing. You must have loved the clothes – I picked up this gorgeous turquoise maxi dress for next adventure to Greece.
Now the photos are in and I know a lot of you have been waiting for them. The brilliant Mike Whorley did a fabulous job of capturing the evening. The full gallery as at the bottom of the blog – can you spot yourself?
The warm summers evening made all of us smile and give generously to the chose charity the Harrogate Homeless Project. Well done and thank you to you for taking part in the raffle as the total raised was just over £330!
A big thank you to Harrogate Tribe’s other supporters, including Glasshouse Studio (read blog about it here), Complete Calm Massage Therapy (read blog about it here), Christian Bailey, Orla Flora, Mike Whorley Photography, Slingsby Gin.
And a standing ovation to Kit & Kaboodal and the brilliant team at Hotel Du Vin!
Shall we do it all over again!
What is Harrogate Tribe
Harrogate Tribe was set up in 2017 by Harrogate Mama and myself. Since then Harrogate Mama has decided to organise her own events but Harrogate Tribe is going to continue. Harrogate Tribe is set to become bigger and better so joining the tribe is a must if you want exclusive Harrogate offers, discounts, early bird invitations to Harrogate Tribe events and connecting you with where you live.
