bedtime tips

I don’t know about you but it’s been so hot recently, I’ve been struggling to sleep so I decided to explore ways to fall in love with bedtimes again and ensure I get enough beauty sleep so not to scare people away.

1. Dreams Vanilla Musk & LavenderHarrogate Candle Company | £25

Just before bed, take away the stress from your day by banishing any electronics, and create a calming atmosphere to send you into a relaxing, peaceful state of mind with a candle from the Harrogate Candle Company. I’m a sucker for a good candle so I recommend the dreams Vanilla Musk & Lavender Candle. Part of their mood collection, this candle is great for creating a sleepy, cosy feel to your bedroom.

2. Emerald Peacock Sleep Mask |Bona Notti| £22

I love the light nights but they don’t half get in your way when you want an early night. I recommend this luxury silk sleep mask made with hypoallergenic silk and cotton liner to improves sleep. It’s even reported to help prevent wrinkles.

3. Pom Pom Duvet Cover Set | Yorkshire Linen Company UK | from £14.99

Everyone loves fresh duvet covers to jump into. These crisp white pollycotton sheets from the Yorkshire Linen Company are perfect to drifted into a deep sleep and I love the cute pom poms which line the edges.

4. Visionnaire Serum Treatment | Lancome | £60

It’s important to look after your skin and I was blown away with a tester of the Visionnaire LR 2412 4% Cx – couldn’t get enough of the stuff. I always make sure I go to bed fresh faced and this exquisite formula contains LR 2412, a molecule designed to penetrate throughout all the layers of the skin’s epidermis. In one application, skin feels smoother and more supple. After one bottle, wrinkles and pores appear reduced, as if corrected.

5. Mink Faux Fur Throw | Yorkshire Linen Company UK | £15.29

I love a good throw, not only does it make the room look inviting it also great for keeping warm in the winter. This gorgeous, royal blue mink faux fur throw is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa adding a bit of colour to your bedroom.

6. Peacock Cushion | Yorkshire Linen Company UK | £39.99

For any girl, cushions are a must and so is making your bed. Results from a survey commissioned by the National Sleep Foundation (NSF) suggest that people sleep much better when their bedrooms are comfortable and clean. People who made their beds  were 19% more likely to report getting a good night’s sleep on most days. So make it look pretty and welcoming with a statement cushion like this Peacock Cushion from the Yorkshire Linen Company.

7. Bedtime Brew by Yorkshire Tea |Yorkshire Tea| Available in Morrison’s

It’s always nice to have a proper brew before bed but too much caffeine and you’re left climbing the walls. I recommend the new Bedtime Brew from the makers of Yorkshire Tea. Established in 1886, Yorkshire Tea certainly know their stuff. This decaffeinated tea is a seriously snuggly with a subtle taste of lemon balm and nutmeg.

8. Little Big Cloud: Unicorn Toy | Yorkshire Linen Company UK | £9.99

Every child needs a comforter with them for bedtime. I’m a big fan of the unicorn trend at the moment and this will delight any little girl making her dreams extra sparkly.

9. Ambassador Anti Allergy Mattress Topper | Yorkshire Linen Company UK | £54.99

It’s always good to protect your mattress so why not add a bit more luxury with a layered anit-allergy topper. The bottom layer is non-allergenic manmade polyester fibres to give warmth and comfort whilst the top layer consists of super fine polyester to ensure a smooth surface for a great nights sleep.

P.S. This was a collaboration between myself and the Yorkshire Linen Company. I wish to thank them for their donation to my Just Giving Page.
