I love a bit of a pamper but at the same time I think, why would I pay for someone to do my nails when I can just as easily do it myself. WRONG! I can paint my nails but I don’t have the talent or the products that The Beauty Bar has.
Where is The Beauty Bar?
The Beauty Bar is on Station Parade, just down from Harrogate bus station. Co-Owner Heather Scrimger invited me to have Gelish nails done for my cousins wedding. I’d never had Gelish nails before and I was always quite skeptical as to why it costs so much more than a normal manicure. As one of four bridesmaids, my cousin (the bride) asked us all to have French nails so Heather set to work making them look beautiful.
I was offered a coffee and we sat in the main area of The Beauty Bar. It had a welcoming and happy atmosphere and Heather was so lovely and great to chat with. Funnily enough Heather first got into beauty because of my sister, Kirstie. They’d met and worked at The Academy Spa together; after many lunch breaks discussing the world of beauty Heather decided it was for her. Being very ambitious and a bright individual, it wasn’t long before Heather decided to open her own business at the age of 26.
The One Stop Shop of Beauty
The Beauty Bar has a contemporary vision of what beauty should be. It’s your one stop shop for making you look fabulous for your night out, wedding or a romantic weekend away. It offers a nail bar, brow bar, lash bar, makeup & blow dry bar. Below are my gorgeous nails done by Heather. I LOVED them and they’re still in good condition 18 days later. I’ve already booked my next appointment, just in time for my blog’s birthday party – well a girl’s got to look good!
To book an appointment or to discuss any of the treatments they have on offer call 01423 506022.

P.S. Thank you to Heather and The Beauty Bar for the gorgeous manicure, looking forward to seeing you again soon.
