Farrah's of Harrogate Toffee1. Farrah’s of Harrogate Toffee

Farrah’s was established in 1840 and the Original Harrogate Toffee was designed to clear the palate of the putrid taste of Harrogate’s Sulphur Water. A hard brittle toffee, similar to both Butterscotch & Barley Sugar.

2. The Oldest Sweet Shop, Chilli, Cherry & Liquoricechilli-cherry-liquorice-sweets

Holy cow, calling all chilli lovers! What a great combination of flavours; delicious sweet cherry and liquorice with a fiery kick of chilli to finish it off! The Oldest Sweet Shop has been going since 1827, nestled in Pateley Bridge I know some of my friend love to spend a fortune in here!

225g | £4.25

Taylors Spiced Apple tisaine tea3. Taylors KEW Spice Apple

All you need to do is add cider! Taylors of Harrogate have teamed up with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to produce a range of herbal infusions and green teas. I’m mad about them! Their Spiced Apple blends sweet apple pieces with the warm spice of punchy ginger root, cloves, and star anise to make a deeply satisfying infusion.

20 Tea Bags | From £3.30

4. Bettys Yorkshire Parkinbettys-parkin-loaf-cake

How can I not put this in! I love the fiery undertones of the spiced ginger against the smooth black treacle. Traditionally enjoyed in Yorkshire on Bonfire Night, it’s great for any cosy Autumn evening.

Serves 6-8 |  400g | £4.95

Brymor, near Jervaulx Abbey, started making the finest Real Dairy Ice Cream the year before I was born. I’d recommend a visit to the ice cream parlor as you get to see the dairy heard and the ice cream tastes soooooo much better at the firm!

Two scoops in a tub | £2.90
