Do you remember as a teen shopping in Azendi for the perfect necklace or earrings for your bestie. Around the age of thirteen we seem to give and receive an Azendi gift, and what a wonderful gift it was.
I revisited Azendi on Station Square during a recent shopping trip to the town centre to see if it was still as good as I remember.
Shopping in Harrogate
It was a crisp winters day and I was feeling quite christmassy, I met up with my mum and headed into Harrogate town centre for a spot of shopping. Totally unaware of what I was planning, mum couldn’t wait for a bit of mummy daughter time and shopping indulgence. From the bridge over to TK Maxx was Station Square which is home to Sweaty Betty, Rohan, Gallery, Mamma Doreens, Yorkshire Soap, and our destination, Azendi.

A warm welcome at Azendi
Walking into Azendi, I was transported back to my time as a teen. It was such a happy feeling to see all of the jewellery right there in front of you. A welcome ‘hello’ hollered from Abby, the store manager, as Mum and I browsed the cabinets and all its wonders.
Gifts for all occasions
As it’s mum’s birthday just around the corner, I thought it would be a real treat for her to choose something from today. Abby came over with a little tray while mum pointed out the bangles that took her fancy, while Abby opened the cabinets and popped them on the tray ready for mum to try on.
The first, looked nice but not really mum’s style. The second looked too big on mum’s dainty wrists, but the third was just right. Mum lit up with joy and you could just tell by her smile how perfect it was. It was the stunning. Just to be sure, mum tried on all the bangles in the shop, Abby was so keen to help, offering advice on how to look after each one and offered advice on the different ranges. Just as I remember the price point for such good quality jewellery and exceptional, personal service – no online shop can compare.

A little treat for me
As mum was trying on her bangles, a piece of jewellery caught my eye; a Baltic Amber stone set in a rose gold pendent necklace. I just had to try it on. Abby took it out of the glass cabinet and helped me put it on. It was understated elegance, and unusual which is what I like when choosing jewellery and I’ve not treated myself is so long.
Gift wrapping service at Azendi
Mum was over joyed with her Milano droplets cuff bangle, and I was so excited about my Northern Lights Baltic Amber Necklace that I didn’t take it off. As standard, Azendi gift wrap every purchase, without sellotape. Plus, there’s a choice of ribbons.
Azendi was just a s good if not better than I remember as a little girl. It had so much choice so if you are thinking of buying a gift for a friend or loved one this Christmas, why not make it an Azendi gift… plus there’s no stress about wrapping it!

Thank you to Azendi for inviting my mum and me down to the shop at Station Square, Harrogate. Both items chosen were gifted to us. Views are my own.
