Something is aglow on the outskirts of Harrogate
If you see mysterious coloured lights shining on the west side of Harrogate, go and explore for it’s the RHS Garden Harlow Carr’s new ‘Glow’ Winter Illuminations. Open to the public on 23 November until 30 December, it’s a fabulous evening for all the family or arm in arm with a loved one. Open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 3 until 8pm (last entry 7pm).
See Harlow Carr in a different light this winter as special lighting effects bring a touch of magic to the most northerly RHS garden. Enjoy an illuminated trail around the magnificent trees and shrubs as dusk falls. See the lake, Winter Walk, Streamside and Doric columns as you’ve never seen them before.
Warm up with a treat from Bettys Café Tea Rooms (full café menu until 6.30pm) or Bettys Café takeaway (hot drinks and light refreshments until 7pm) and pop into the Shop & Plant Centre for beautiful festive gifts (open until 8pm).
Free to members (plus usual guest allocation). Reduced entry for non-members applies after 3pm.
