Just recently I’ve been experiencing a lot of pizza takeaways in Harrogate so I wanted to share with you my top pizza takaways for any day of the week!
My date night takeaway – Pizza Social
Probably the tastiest pizzas in Harrogate! Pizza Social was due to open its first pizzeria in Harrogate last summer after mastering the Pizza horsebox at weddings and events. When the pandemic hit it created a fantastic DIY pizza kit. For £10, you get two delicious sourdough bases, a rich homemade tomato sauce, and some good quality mozzarella, plus herbs to sprinkle on top. Niki and I love making these together with a glass of red on the go!

My mid-week takeaway – Major Tom’s
Major Tom’s is a major player in the pizza takeaways in Harrogate. When open, Major Tom’s pizzas and beer were loved by many, so when the pandemic hit I was pleased to see Major Tom’s develop Pizzas to cook at home. These pre-made pizzas are simple and ideal for a mid-week takeaway with all the taste of a stonebaked pizza. The prices are around £6.50 per pizza.
Pizza collection service is available from 4-8pm every Friday & Saturday. The pizza delivery service is on a Friday with a delivery window between 3pm and 6pm.

My time of the month takeaway – Dominos
Yep, we all have that food we crave when it’s that time of the month, for me that’s Pepperoni Passion! Probably one of the better-known pizza takeaways in Harrogate. Plus the odd Ben & Jerry’s or cookies seem to slip into my basket at the same time! I usually try looking for codes to get 50% off and usually pay around £18 for two large pizzas.

My lazy weekend takeaway – Cozy Pizzas
This quick, local takeaway delivers scrumptious 9” stone-baked pizzas, topped skin-on chips, or really cheesy garlic bread! Pizzas start at £6 per pizza. To place your order just pick the time slot you’d like (anytime between 5-8pm) and give Steve a call on 07387 798857. You can call anytime up to 8pm the night before you’d like your delivery.
